A “Brand” new perspective

March 24, 2011

Whats the difference between a Louis Vuitton bag & a Guess purse? A Herve Leger dress or a Forever 21 frock?

Besides the obvious fact that these, the aforementioned ‘Superbrands” actually set the trend for the latter protégés, the greatest difference is the quality of the product. The quality is what defines the name and the name is what demands the high (and sometimes extortionate, but always justifiable) price tag.

This principal translates to hair and the SONOMA Brand. Whats the difference between our product and the hair that you purchase in the shiny clear plastic packs in your beauty supply store? Pictures may help:

Exhibit A – Beauty Supply Store Hair

Here is a snapshot of hair from the beauty supply store hair. They usually use these images to market their products on the packages – Oh the Irony, Oh the Tragedy.

Exhibit A - Beauty Supply Store (BSS) Hair

She is a beautiful girl, and her hair doesn’t even look TERRIBLE, but on first glance one may think, “oh, nice weave/wig”… Her hair looks heavy and lets be frank, the hairstyle is wearing her, she isnt wearing the hair

Exhibit B – Virgin Indian Remy Hair

She is also a gorgeous girl, But she has you asking, “What products do you use to make your curls pop, or Gurrrrl, what are you mixed with??”.

See the difference? Her hair although longer appears lighter, and doesnt have the “wiggy effect” that can ruin the image of any Fashionista.

Whatever YOUR personal brand may be, ensure that your hair compliments.

Contact us at  consultant@sonomahair.com  to discuss how we can match your hair, whatever the texture, perfectly.

OK, First off, that wig DOES look horrible. God knows I’ve gone through my fair share off disastrous, plastic, Beauty Supply hair….but back then, you couldn’t tell me nothing. Now that I know better, I do better, and Virgin Remy hair is the way to go! So excited about this new brand and can’t wait to get matched with my “Summer Hair”.:)
